DR. KATHY KIDDER-WILKERSON
Welcome to Hancock County Schools! The Hancock County School System is comprised of three primary schools, two middle schools, two high schools and one career center. The faculty, administrators and staff of each school are committed to providing instruction of a curriculum that is relevant, rigorous and engaging, in order to prepare our students for work in a culturally diverse, technologically complex and economically challenged world.
Dr. Kidder took the reins of the superintendency of Hancock County Schools on July 1, 2015. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from West Virginia Northern Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and General Science from West Liberty State College, a Master of Science degree in Pre-vocational Education with certification in Health Related Occupations from Marshall University, and a Doctorate degree from West Virginia University in Educational Leadership. Dr. Kidder has served as a secondary classroom Teacher, Assistant Principal, Director of Adult and Career Technical Education, Director of Student Services, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent.
